The RG Fiber Difference

What “Done Right” Looks Like

  • Labeled at both ends with a documented scheme — faceplate, cable and patch panel all match.
  • Certified, not just “it works” — full category certification, not a cheap continuity check.
  • Proper supports and pathways — J-hooks and cable tray, never cable lying on ceiling tiles.
  • As-built documentation so the next move, add or change is quick and cheap.
FAQ

Structured Cabling FAQ

Cat6 or Cat6a — which should we install?

Cat6 handles 1Gbps everywhere and 10Gbps on shorter runs, and remains the value choice for most offices. Cat6a supports 10Gbps to a full 100 meters and is the right call for new construction, Wi-Fi 6E/7 access points and anywhere you want maximum future-proofing. We’ll price both so you can decide with real numbers.

How much does structured cabling cost?

It depends on drop count, building construction, ceiling heights and whether work happens during or after hours. After a quick site walk or plan review we provide a fixed written quote — no per-foot surprises.

Can you cable our new office before we move in?

Yes — buildout-stage cabling is ideal because walls and ceilings are accessible. We coordinate with your GC and electrician so cabling, comm room and network are ready on day one.

Do you work nights and weekends?

Routinely. Much of our cabling work in occupied offices, plants and retail happens after hours so your operation never stops.
